Full HD Video

The Navig8r Crash Cam PRO records high quality video at 1920 x 1080 and 30 fps. Not only does the Full HD (1080) image show the finer details, but the superior graphic chipset results in improved image contrast, sharper line detail (aliasing), smoother image frame rate and true to life colours.

Big screen & HDMI output

The Navig8r Crash Cam PRO comes with a large 2.4” LCD screen so you can see more. Playback of video is clearer and the onscreen menu is more legible, especially when the Crashcam PRO can display a full screen speedo – yep, that’s the ‘real’ speed you’re travelling as measured by GPS. The Navig8r Crash Cam PRO can also connect to any Full HD TV via HDMI so you can see all the action on the big screen. 

GPS Tracking

Featuring built-in GPS tracking, the Navig8r Crash Cam PRO dash cam comes with PC software which shows date, time, speed, location details, journey tracking (on Google Maps) and of course video.  The Navig8r Crash Cam PRO stamps the video footage with longitude and latitude details alongside date, time and speed (all of which are automatically synchronized with GPS) – so it’s accurate all the time. 

Warns you of upcoming speed / safety cameras and detects speed signs

Preloaded with the latest Safety Camera data from Here® the Crash Cam PRO will alert you when approaching a fixed safety camera and display the road speed limit as well as a distance countdown to the camera ahead. The Safety camera database includes speed cameras, red light cameras and combination red light / speed cameras and the quarterly updates are free for the life of the Crash Cam Pro. Additionally, the Navig8r Crashcam Pro can detect Speed limits from street signs and re-display these speed limits on the display.

G Sensor

  The Crash Cam PRO’s on board G sensor (accelerometer) is highly accurate and records in 3 axis. So you can see how hard your car was hit from any angle. Ideal for identifying what got hit when in the event of an incident.

Wide viewing angle

  With a wide 127°field of view, the Crash Cam PRO can capture more peripheral vision. Seeing more of the scene around you gives better perspective on the incident.

Night time vision

The Crash Cam PRO features a superior 6 element glass lens and a high quality graphics chipset (with advanced multi segment metering). This means that the Navig8r Crash Cam PRO performs better in low light and high contrast situations (like sunset and oncoming headlights).

Save the big hits - automatically

  The Crash Cam PRO has a feature called “auto bump file record" - so if you get a hit, the recorded video is automatically saved and protected. Peace of mind knowing that in the heat of the moment, you don’t have to remember to save and protect the video file which recorded the incident.

Built-in microphone

The Navig8r crash cam Pro includes a built-in microphone to capture sound inside the cabin, useful for recording notes or comments about an incident.  Optionally, it can be turned off when you don’t need it.

Lights on reminder

At night time or in tunnels or underground carparks, the Crashcam Pro Dash Cam shows a reminder to turn on your lights.

Driver Fatigue reminder

On long journeys, the Crashcam Pro can be set to show visual and audible warnings to have a rest break after periods of continuous driving (length of driving period can be set in the menu).

For the PRO driver - Direct Connect and adhesive mount

The Navig8r crash cam Pro can be direct wired to a vehicles 12v (or 24v) electrical system, negating the need for the standard 12v Cig socket. That’s because the step down transformer circuitry is in-line and not in the plug of the cig. Socket. Additionally, the Navig8r Crash cam PRO comes standard with a 3M adhesive mount to (semi) permanently mount the Dash cam to the windscreen without fear of it falling off, especially in the event of an accident. (suction mount also available as an option).

Stop and go alerts

The Crash Cam PRO alerts you when you have stopped (say at traffic lights) and when the car in front of you moves off.

Speedometer

A full screen digital readout shows your actual car speed as measured by GPS. Ideal for comparing actual speed versus what your car’s speedometer is showing.

Track & Analyze

Comprehensive software is supplied with every Crash Cam PRO.  It allows you to view and analyze the video and route information as well as track your journey on Google Maps with speed and location information.  The Crash Cam PRO also stamps the time and date information as well as lat/long location information on the video footage so you can view this on a TV or media player (without the software). As the date and time are automatically synchronized with real time from the GPS feed, the video incident details will always be accurate.

Easily select or change the language on your display and Voice alerts, in Menu.
