InSync Buddy FlamingoMic

The Buddy FlamingoMic is a highly flexible 60 cm long Gooseneck USB microphone that plugs directly into the USB port. When used within the 2.5cm to 15cm range, Buddy FlamingoMic offers speech recognition accuracy levels up to the high-90 percent range... comparable to any high-performance headset on the market.

Buddy FlamingoMic is a lengthy 50cms of noise-cancelling microphone on the inside, surrounded by a flexible, 5mm-thick vulcanized shrink tubing that gives you full flexibility.

This microphone has its own sound card built in. You do not need to have a sound card in your system.

It is compatible with Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, and XP operating systems. Works with Dragon NaturallySpeaking IBM ViaVoice and other sound applications.

Microphone Element
  • Includes a unidirectional microphone element to provide clear audio signal from 2.5cm to 15cm range from the front of the element yet providing a speech signal comparable to headset microphones.  This yields extremely high recognition accuracy in the high nineties with Dragon NaturallySpeaking, which is comparable to to good quality headsets.

Software
  • Its plug and play operation uses Windows and Macintosh drivers for seamless operation.  The firmware is user upgradeable to protect your investment.  We will do our best to provide compatibility with future operating systems such as Microsoft Windows Vista within the terms of the warranty period and possibly beyond.
