Some simple tests before bringing your hardware in to the Service Department:
1. Are all the cables plugged in and in the correct position?
2. Have you scanned you data with a “current” virus scanner?
3. Printer not printing – Could the printer be out of ink?
4. Print quality degrading – Perform a head clean through the driver software (See Manual).
5. Are all the drivers current for the hardware you have?
6. Computer won’t start – Remove the power cable and wait 5 minute then plug it in and try again. Don’t perform this test if there is a burning smell or electrical arching.
Before you bring in your PC – Back-up your data?!!!
On Standard Installation & Testing. Original Operating System and Licence must be provided. Standard Computers Australia strongly recommends all customers to backup important data before getting service work performed, all care but no responsibility is taken for data loss or corruption. Quote fee will be waived if customer proceeds with the repair. Prices are subject to change with out Notice. E.&O.E. All Prices Include GST.
